The mysterious third-line construction began in the rare Jinsha Rift Valley, where the construction army went deep into the ravines and mountains, encountering logistical difficulties. A tributary of Jinsha is the only channel, and wooden plank boats made of earth are requisitioned in the deep ravines. For the sake of the mysterious third-line construction, the boatmen sacrificed their lives to finally complete the transportation of military supplies.
